ARKS Intelligence Bureau Reconnaissance Unit
Background
A late first-generation ARKS, Dasher's chassis was created with her operational role in mind. Equipped with advanced sensor suites and a customized radome unit, the CAST was designed for reconnaissance missions-- specifically the detection and tracking of Falzspawn movements. After the defeat of Dark Falz Elder in AP 198, Dasher was primarily posted on Naverius to ensure that no active Falzspawn were present and contamination levels remained low. As Naverius was publically considered to be a safe location during this time, she was quietly dispatched on solitary, long-term deployments.
Dasher was reassigned to the Intelligence Bureau during the ARKS restructuring of AP 239. Rather than focusing on enemy movements, her skillsets and sensory equipment were directed inward, with the goal of examining active ARKS operatives for signs of F-factor corruption. The CAST excelled in this role, as her lack of socialization or interest in other ARKS allowed her to observe allied units from a distance and report data without bias.
Due to their frequent frontline operations against large amounts of Falzspawn, Dasher has been recently tasked to monitor the Neo Vanguard Irregulars for signs of contamination. The eclectic nature of NVI operatives and the lack of clear command structure has made traditional observation impossible, requiring far more social iteraction than the agent has previously experienced.
Personality
Like many CASTs, Dasher has no memories of her previous life. Decades of solitary operations have left her with little social skills or cohesive sense of self; as much of her has been spent recording data, she often views herself as a detached observer. With an innate curiousity and little knowledge of social cues, she attempts to analyze personal interactions in real-time, believing that clear communication will benefit all parties involved. Despite her clinical nature, she has an odd fondness for strange headwear she has collected over her deployments.
